Operating from the Australian Volunteers International (AVI) building in Melbourne, Interplast is powered by a dedicated team of 14 full and part-time staff led by our CEO, A/Professor Misha Coleman ASM. Together, our team brings expertise in international development, clinical governance, program delivery, finance, fundraising, communications, monitoring and evaluation, and partner engagement across the Indo-Pacific region. ​​
Beyond our small staff team, Interplast relies on an extraordinary network of volunteers who generously contribute their time, skills and expertise. This includes our Board Directors, Company Members, Country Coordinators, committee members, interns and, most importantly, our clinical volunteers. Surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, allied health professionals and other specialists volunteer both in Australia and overseas, sharing their knowledge and supporting local health professionals to deliver life-changing care. These repairers and rebuilders are at the heart of Interplast’s work, helping us transform lives while strengthening health systems for the future.
