Mr Ian Carlisle

  • Board Director from 2002-2014
  • Chair of Surgical Committee from 2003-2010, and remains a member of the Committee.
  • Volunteer Country Coordinator of Indonesia.
  • Participated as a volunteer surgeon on 36 program activities to Indonesia, Fiji and the Philippines.
  • Interplast Board representative on the RACS International Committee until 2015
  • Worked tirelessly to progress the development of an MoU with the Indonesian Government.

Mr Russell Corlett

  • Volunteer Country Coordinator for Bangladesh.
  • Participated as a volunteer surgeon on 23 program activities since 1985, including to Bangladesh, Fiji, Samoa, Kiribati, Tuvalu, Indonesia, Micronesia, PNG and Nepal
  • Interplast representative on RACS PIP Monitoring and Evaluation Committee
  • Continues to speak on behalf of Interplast at various events.

Mr Allan Meares

  • Participated as a volunteer surgeon on program activities since 1995.
  • Participated on 17 program activities including to Tonga, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Solomon Islands, Fiji and PNG
  • Volunteer Country Coordinator for Bangladesh until 2012
  • Continues to speak at events, particular Rotary Clubs and Districts on behalf of Interplast.

The Hon. Dr Kay Patterson AO

  • Board Director from 2006-2015

  • Actively promoted Interplast to Rotary Clubs and Districts throughout Australia and New Zealand

Ms Jan Rice

  • Developed significant nurse education resources for Interplast.

Mr Ross Sutton

  • Visited Bangladesh twice in 2009 and again in 2015 to contribute to program planning and Myanmar in 2011 to assist with a needs assessment.
