A group of Interplast volunteers arrived back in Australia last night after a two week surgical activity in Mt Hagen, Papua New Guinea. Dubbed a huge success, the trip was largely made possible by the funding raised by the Buller Knights and their incredible supporters.
Meet Nick Fifield. He’s a passionate supporter, Johnson & Johnson Medical‘s very first Interplast ambassador and blogger. Having recently been selected to join the Interplast medical team in Mt Hagen in Papua New Guinea, he’s currently blogging his way through his first Interplast experience.
Another year, another Eureka Climb. Congratulations to the 2497 participants who raised an amazing $302,543 (and climbing) for Interplast and Whitelion at this year’s fundraising event!
An enormous congratulations is extended to four Interplast volunteers for being presented with the Peter Mac Compassion award recently for their work with Interplast!
This year’s Eureka Climb is just around the corner! It’s certainly come around fast, but this Sunday 18 November will see a record number of participants walk, run, climb or crawl their way to the top of the world’s tallest residential building to raise money for Interplast and Whitelion.
Motorbike adventure, anyone? In February 2013, avid Interplast supporter, Peter Jones, will embark on an epic motorbike ride through South-East Asia and Australia to raise funds and awareness for Interplast. 45 days, 6500 miles (that’s 10,460 kilometres!) and six countries. Pretty impressive, hey?
