Across the world, an estimated 195,000 deaths are caused by burns annually, with the vast majority occurring in low to middle income countries (WHO 2012). But, for every person who dies as a result of their burns, many more suffer permanent disfigurement. Without adequate care, burn injuries needlessly cause preventable disability.

On Thursday May 16 we celebrated our very special anniversary with our valued supporters at The Windsor Hotel in Melbourne.
