Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Interplast!
Interplast has regular volunteer roles for a number of different types of allied health professionals, including:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational / Hand Therapy
- Speech Pathology
From time to time, Interplast also requires other types of allied health professionals to meet the requirements of specific programs.
As part of the application process, you are required to upload a letter of motivation, a letter of reference, your current CV and a copy of your current registration certificate. We advise for you to gather these first and then fill out the form below.
Please note: an iPad and mobile phone will not allow you to upload the required documents.
Minimum requirements:
Please note that the requirements for different allied health volunteer roles with Interplast vary depending on the requirements of individual programs.
However, all volunteer allied health professionals are required to be:
- Fully qualified in their respective fields
- Currently registered to practice with no restrictions
- Three years’ clinical experience as an allied health therapist or educator.
- Must be currently working as an allied professional or educator in this field.
What happens after I apply?
When we receive your application, it will be reviewed by the Interplast team, including, where necessary, members of our advisory groups, to ensure that you meet the requirements of volunteering for Interplast. We will confirm receipt of your application and let you know whether or not you have been successful in being added to our pool of volunteers.
Please note that Interplast is in a fortunate position to have more volunteers than it is able to send on programs, and this, alongside the 4-6 month lead time required to mobilise volunteer teams, means that it may be an extended period until Interplast is able to find a suitable volunteer position for you. We appreciate your patience!
