International Program Manager – Surgical
Interplast is seeking a Programs Manager – Surgical to join the International Programs team.
Reporting to the Head of International Programs, the Program Manager is responsible for leading strategic development and implementation of Interplast programming, with a particular focus on perioperative services including surgery, anaesthetics, nurses and other allied health professionals in hospitals or clinics.

This is a Full-time, Melbourne-based position with generous annual leave entitlement of 5 weeks per year.

Essential – please outline your demonstrated experience and capacity against the following:
- Development and maintenance of an annual country program budget and related project-level budgets to monitor the allocation of donor income against budgets for Interplast activities
- Preparation of timely, accurate and engaging donor reports within contractual timeframes
- Identification of business development activities and preparation of grant applications
- Experience managing a small team
- Leading program monitoring, evaluation and learning processes, including data capture, quality control of information management, training and support, and impact reporting
- Having relevant qualifications – surgical nursing, postgraduate qualification in public health, international development, or related field
Preferred
- Demonstrated international development program management skills in an ANCP program, ensuring that all programs meet organisational policies and procedures, especially those that map to DFAT/ANCP requirements and the ACFID Code of Conduct.
- Demonstrated experience ensuring that child safeguarding, GEDSI and MELF requirements are embedded in designs and complied with
- Demonstrated experience working with communities and partners within the Asia Pacific region
- Demonstrated experience working with, and placing, volunteers.
