Rotarians were there in the beginning.

Interplast was founded through the partnership of Rotary and The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1983. For more than 40 years, Rotarians in clubs and districts throughout Australia and New Zealand have been helping us to change lives in the Asia and Pacific regions.

Rotarians serve on Interplast’s Board of Directors and 9 Past District Governors form the Rotarian Committee, which advises the Executive and Board on Rotary matters.

We want to match the enthusiasm Rotarians have for supporting Interplast. Here you’ll find everything you need to champion Interplast at Club Meetings, Conference Showcases and fundraising events.

For children like Jayron, one hour of surgery can help transform their lives.

Jayron was born with a cleft lip and palate, a condition that affected his ability to eat and speak. Without surgery, he would have likely faced social stigma and exclusion from his community, limiting his future.

At just 12-months-old Jayron received his first surgery to repair his cleft lip and this year our volunteer surgical team were able to repair his palate.

For many children like Jayron who live in the Pacific region, one hour of surgery can unlock a world of possibilities. Without this vital surgery, children face isolation and often bullying and rejection.

One hour of surgery can transform a child’s future—giving them the chance to go to school, pursue their dreams, and discover a future of opportunities.

Your urgent support today can help provide one hour of surgery that can unlock a child’s future.
