Since Interplast began in 1983 we have changed the lives and futures of tens of thousands of people and communities in developing countries across the Asia Pacific region.

Our focus has always been on performing life-changing surgery and building the capacity of local medical staff through training and mentoring. Ultimately we aim to foster and strengthen sustainable health systems so that the communities we visit will have long-term access to quality health services
