Children First is a Melbourne based not-for-profit charity. Their mission is to transform the lives of children by giving hope, exceptional care and pathways to a brighter future. They do this by bringing children from developing countries to Australia for surgery that is not available in their country of birth, and by supporting disabled or chronically ill children in Australia.
New Zealand Society of Anaesthetists
NZSA represents and supports the best interests of the community of medically registered anaesthetists in New Zealand and promotes the safety of their patients.
Integrally involved in the establishment of Interplast in 1983 in partnership with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Interplast is supported by Rotarians in clubs and districts throughout Australia and New Zealand. Since 1983, Rotarians have raised significant funds to support Interplast in repairing bodies and rebuilding lives. More than 70 Rotarians have accompanied teams as observers and have returned to act as ambassadors for Interplast by spreading our message.
Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
The leading advocate for surgical standards, professionalism and surgical education in Australia & New Zealand, RACS is a non-profit organisation that trains surgeons and maintains surgical standards in Australia and New Zealand. RACS was a key partner in the establishment of Interplast and continues to provide office space for the organisation.
Rotary Oceania Medical Aid for Children (ROMAC) aims to provide specialist treatment for children from developing countries in the form of life-saving and/or dignity restoring surgery not accessible to them in their home country.

Lifebox is a joint, regional project developed to ensure access to life-saving monitoring during surgery through the purchasing and distribution of pulse oximeters for hospitals across the Asia Pacific region.
Overseas Specialist Surgical Association of Australia (OSSAA)
An NGO based in Adelaide, OSSSAA provides major surgery for people based in Timor Leste and Eastern Indonesia who suffer from burns, cleft palates, congenital defects, leprosy, disease and trauma. They do this in conjunction with capacity building for local medical professionals.
New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons
The New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons is a non-profit, professional association devoted to the maintenance of excellent ethical and professional standards within the field of cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. NZAPS represents most of New Zealand’s plastic surgeons and provides a strong voice for plastic surgeons in discussions with the Government, the Ministry of Health and other bodies.
